It does seem as if the police are riding roughshod over the law.
The police are meant to enforce the law whoever breaks it, and it is glaringly obvious that serious crimes were committed that day.
Either we have a law against battering someone over the head with a club in the street or we don't. If the police aren't going to enforce one then whats the point in having it?
I'm assuming of course there is such a law, maybe there's some loophole they were using.
If the police are going to get away with such public and illegal violence then why shouldn't I publicly break the Hunting Act.
After all the law against clubbing is emoinently sensible and the Hu8nting Act is eminently stupid.
In fact I am going to do just that by taking my dogs out and flushing out and chasing deer tomorrow morning.
The law says these deer must be shot dead. I disagree with it and am not going to obey it.
Police chiefs claim that the cllubbing was done with 'dignity and professionalism'. Does that make it allright?
Don't worry I'll chase those deer tonmorrow with 'dignity and professionalism.'
