there is a feature on google map where you can plot the area and it tells you the size

here you the measurements of the land you want down to the last *T* minus the top bit you did not enclude

We have another one over here which is fantastic particularly for farmland. It helps us work out the exact acreage of all our fields which is very useful to know when you're figuring out crop yield returns, the amount of seed required to be put in the seed drills and for programming the machinery etc. Technology is an amazing thing
