Roughly how many small bales of hay?

are in a 8ft rectanglular bale?? I know it'll depend on how tightly its packed etc just trying to get an idea of how many to order!

Also if you use them, what price do you pay?

Id say around ten mark too

Not using this year but was quoted £32 for very nice stuff this year. £27 for large square haylage. Less for round.

We bought some really nice stuff for £45 that had 12 bales in, they were small square ones though about equivalent of 1 1/2 normal small bales.

Bale they were all bound in was about 8ft rectangle though.
