While not horsey related I wanted to raise the profile of an epic journey a friend is currently doing.

John is riding his daughters CG 125cc motorbike around the coastal roads of Britain in her memory following her death in a car accident.

It’s a trip of over 5,000 miles using small coastal roads and B class roads. The more support we can raise for John in his epic journey the better.

He left the Highlands of Scotland on 12th August and has travelled clockwise around the coast. He left Woollacombe in Devon early this morning and is heading up towards Minehead, Clevedon, Avonmouth (Bristol) and then on to Cardiff.

The links below give more details of the trip and the Kirsty Bryden Memorial Trust.

John is very noticeable - the bike is bright yellow, John is a big bloke and he has a Eyore as company riding pillion.

If you see him on his travels please give him some support - even if its just a few words of encouragement. He is doing about 18 hours a day in the saddle and rode the bike until 2am this morning.

Thanks for reading this.
