Who's bought what, from where, how much, how satisfied. Our original one at EMW herefordshire , now 4 years old, and made from recycled builders panels, has been brilliant but has finally given up the ghost, it's collapsed in the gales and cannot be tack welded back together again anymore.
We have seen one on E-bay for £950, fits into a trailer for easy moving, designed with safety in mind and is durable. We use the round pen a lot for working with horses and ponies who are young, nervous and for starting off in tack. Also for loose schooling work. without one we are very restricted as we don't have the benefit of an all weather school nor the funds to put one in place in the foreseeable future.
or if anyone has one for sale maybe...

I have just made one out of tape and posts. Not ideal i know but it works for my minis. I have seen them made with sheep hurdles which works out quite cheap i think. I am going to ring around a few lanscapers this summer and try to get some free chip for the base. We get some delivered for our paddock in summer and thats free. Imm not to bad as its in the corner of my field and as there only small they dont churn it up.

I broke my mare in a school made from the big fence panels (6ft high ones) - the owner had got a load of damaged ones from a timber supplier for a good price.

Hubby made one using round posts, worked very well and quite cheap.

Just had a look at the one on ebay, but I'm not keen........... I like them to have enclosed sides so if the horse kicks out (highly likely with starters) it can't put it's leg through anywhere

We've got a Monarch one which is very good, but heavy, so is really a non-portable pen. I think our second pen is an IAE? It's a lot more light weight, and easy to handle.
