Felt we should have a thread. Not been watching too closely yet. My horse ran in the Ascot Stakes 14 years ago now. Have a copy of the race card. Nice win for Harry Eustace in the first.
Listened on the radio. Sounded a clear win. Good one for Jim Goldie in the previous race.Race of the day coming up next ……
I didn't see it fortunately, but from what they said it didn't sound good. Harry's Girl. That was gutting to watch.
Just a baby![]()
It is a bit hot for a Laprador but I’m also so glad I’m at home.It looks like absolute hell there, I am much happier at home!
Oh is he… I may have to channel hop!Poor Harry's Girl, as Jenko said, just a baby
It looks absolutely roasting there, its bad enough at home. The thought of wearing a suit and formal attire, no thank you!
Least we have Ruby today on ITV I find his analysis really interesting
I’m also doing better with my spontaneous bets than with Mr P’s tipsWell done Crimson Advocate, I wasn’t expecting that with a couple of furlongs to go. She carried my 10p ew to victory!![]()
Really embarrassed as I ought to know. My betting knowledge is limited to win or place or each way though? When it is showing the betting odds what does overground % mean. Thank you.
I worked in racing 50 years ago, but it's puzzling me, a wise member will inform us soon.Really embarrassed as I ought to know. My betting knowledge is limited to win or place or each way though
That was impressive and I agree, he’s a lovely looking horse.Don't like seeing what was a good horse in Continuous being sacrificed as a pace maker, wonder what his future will be after racing
Ombudsman is a gorgeous looking horse. Looked like he was going to get blocked in a few times but managed to get out and keep his run going
