It's not the most glamourous but the surfaces are good and the organisers are very professional and friendly. The indoor arena isn't huge but they make the most of the space, warm up is indoor too.
They build up to height and the courses are technical enough without going mad.
Maybe see you there over the winter.
Indoor arena is a good size with brilliant jumping surface, beware of the glass gallery bit at one end as that tends to spook some of them. Also beware of the warm up arena which can sometime resemble piccadilly circus on a bad day, but mostly its fine!
They build very up to height with good square oxers. You definitely get plenty for your money! and good sized classes
Their outdoors in the summer is absolutely fantastic as well
Agree with the above...the surface indoors is peat i think. It's a long enough arena but not quite as wide as would be perfect...but wide enough. Courses are usually strong, and all the local pro's jump there throughout the winter as it's the only place to run every tuesday and sunday throughout
Warm-up is big enough too, and indoor....but for whatever reason i have heard of several people (incl me) who say their horses don't jump the oxer well. It's on the right rein and coming away from the entrane to the main arena.
Echo the warning above about the glass end of the school too...Trike stopped dead in mid-air the first time he saw it...and sent me out the side door
In fact, i think i've got some video of a Newcomers/1.10m Open from about 3 years ago (so excuse my dreadful riding...it was my second show !) which shows you what the arena is like...
