Does anyone have these stirrups? Interested in your opinions/experiences please as I'm thinking of getting a pair for jumping and they are rather pricey!

i'm interested in these too. the cheapest i've found are on ebay, for £79.50 incl p&p.
had a look at the Royal Rider website, and they supply F1 teams etc, so the stuff must be very good quality and strong... my one worry was that if they're that lightweight, they might not be strong.

Someone i know at my last yard had them, she was jumping in jump off and right before last jump the stirrup snapped near where you put lthread stirrup leather, she fell off horse stood on her (with studs) and made nice mess off her face, so i personally would not. i have a cheaper version that £25 i like the cheeze grater idea.

crikey mazziek, thanks for telling us that. my fears are well-grounded then, poor girl, what a nightmare. will stick to my nice heavy strong ones, then!
