To enter a horse for the royal Welsh do I have to qualify or am I able to just "enter"?
I have had a look on the website and at the previous years entry forms but there doesn't seem to be any information. Its been a long time since I have shown at this level (3 children) but I finally have the right horse ;)!

Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.:o

It does depend which classes for instance the Chaps classes you do not have the be a member of chaps to enter , the M&M Hoys quals you have to be a member of WPCS or BSPS, Nps, PUK or TSR.
if its the Hoys quals for the Hunters than than is SHB GB i think but I am a pony person not horses ...for the Welsh breed inhand and ridden the pony needs to be registered in the stud book of the WPCS but you do not have to be a member.
You dont have to qualify to compete there though.

Hi he is a registered ID, 15'1 with LHC. Cob, heavy weight as has 9 1/2 inch bone. Hogged etc, these classes are new to me as in my teens to late 20's I used to show hunters!

Riding Horse, Hack and Cob Society or whatever they call themselves.

ID (GB) society to show in ID classes.

EmmaB you need to be pretty fit as the welsh cobs trot into the Ring at the Royal Welsh and do at least a full lap of the ring before showing off the walk. Then you trot out individual before being pulled in. So start getting fit now!
