I always love it, especially the carriage driving Great if you like showing as that's the main thing, but there's also some show jumping. Be worth looking at the website for each day's programme
It's really nice, great view of the castle and nice show - surprisingly relaxed and friendly, not at all how I thought.
I had planned to take my Haflinger as there is a Haflinger set of classes (because the Queen has some at Balmoral they get a look in!). Sadly she got kicked just before (my pony not the Queen , but I was interested that the classes were in the smaller Frogmore ring and it was lovely and low key and I think she would have coped with the buzz.
I really enjoyed going as a spectator anyway, even without my pony!
I've been going for years - nice mix of classes to watchfrom show jumping, carriage driving to showing, excellent shopping and nice lay out. Good value for money in my opinion
Next week is actually OH's birthday so if he's willing to go (he's completely non-horsey but I'm sure I'll be able to persuade him!) then will def try and go , sounds like a nice day out anyway
Whats the shopping like? For , ahem , research purposes obviously
