Many of you are aware through my previous posts about my need to re-home 'snowy' due to the iminant arrival of my baby.
After 2 weeks of tearing my hair out and numerous phone calls later the RSPCA have eventually (under pressure ) taken the dog i adopted from them back (as per the adoption agreement)
'Snowy' had been on the list for 5 months.
It has been incredibly upsetting for both of us having not only losing a member of our 'family' but i was out of options and as i was not allowed by this agreement to re-home him myself or take him to another charity, the decision was made this morning to have him PTS.
I recived a phone call asking me to bring him in tomorrow so they can try to re-home him.
Im shocked it was this difficult.
Thank you to everyone who offered help, esp CALA

What a ridiculous position they put you in but I'm glad you have it sorted. Now get down to the serious business of pushing that baby out

What a relief for you, glad you managed to get it sorted - crazy that you had to go to such lengths though

.

Good luck with the baby!.

I am glad you got it sorted in the end. You would have thought they would have been happy for you to rehome him direct, save their kennel space, but thats RSPCA for you. Good luck with the baby!

Missed your previous threads but why do you have to re-home a rescue dog just because you're having a baby? Hope he finds a fantastic new home.
