Are going to be getting one hell of a complaint next week.
They've climbed over fences and gates to leave a note in the middle of our land. Note is sodden but name is on there.
Will be strongly complaining that theyve broken in and not posted on the bloody entrance. They will be getting the bill for the damage done too. I am absolutely fuming and will be tempted to pay a nice donation to bhs or whw to get confirmation on the condition of animals and fields.

We have a second run of (all be it old) fencing that has been flatted to get over. More for people deterrant than horses. they were caught wandering through the field a few months earlier about a lame horse (and failed to point a lame one out to us) getting annoyed now. By all means post a note on the entrance but don't stroll through and leave a note in the middle of a 35acre plot on a random piece of fence! We know exactly who is reporting too, someone told to get out of the private road we are on in no uncertain terms when blocking our main access.

WTF! Why on earth did they do that?

Never mind, I suspect they were looking for illegal hunting so they can waste all their time and money on stupid prosecutions, which go nowhere.

Go and sort 'em out!

Don't let them get away with it. They have more than enough in the bank to refund the damage they've caused. Does them flattening the fence to gain an entry class as criminal damage? Certainly tresspass anyway

Tx I wouldn't mind had a note been left on entrance but it was hidden right away and clearly an excuse to get in... It's also now photographic proof that they were tresspassing.
Never had a good dealing with rspca. Last time I called them to a problem we ended up with police involved when they walked the thug we'd complained about to show him who had said he wasn't taking care of his animals!
Also had horses on main road and they've never shown. Still if I do go for tresspassing I don't have 300,000 to argue my case :/ !

Go for criminal damage and report this to the police immediately. If they have broken the fence to gain access to private property then that is indeed criminal damage and the 'officer' has broken the law. They have no right of entry without a warrant, and presumably they have not got the evidence to obtain a warrant.

No evidence. Even with horses stood infront of them, they failed to point out the very lame horse they were 'concerned' about last time.
I've given land owner note and left him to deal with it. They were lucky they walked through at the right time though as we have shoots through the land regularly.

Quirky. Fields are split up with openings for free roam and it was pinned (with a dinky drawing pin) to fence.

Hollyhocks... Disgusting when they are happy to shell out 300k they could be using to actually help animals :( they are too busy chasing the high publicity cases and their tails on people who won't bite back than doing what the charity was set up to do.
