RT Equestrian? - North Yorkshire

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to buy a new pony for my daughter, preferably connemara to do a bit of everything. I have had a look on the RT Equestrian website and some of the ponies look quite nice but quite expensive ! does anyone know anything about RT Equestrian??? Good/Bad??? trying to avoid dodgy dealers as i have had a few bad experiences while buying horses !!! would be good if i could get some advice from anyone who has dealt with any dealers in the north yorkshire area!

Sorry, never heard of them. I am guessing they are a fairly new set up? Woukd appear she's an eventer and, from at the pics they spend a fair bit of time at Northallerton equestrian centre so does appear they are genuinely out and about competing these horses.

The pictures look quite good to be honest although yes, some do seem a little expensive but some of the ponies do look pretty smart and, if they are doing what it says they are doing I would imagine they're pretty standard prices. Best thing to do is go take a look yourself.

When I was looking in October 2011 I went to look at one there and she was really nice, ponies were really nice and she had a couple of others suitable so ended up trying a few. Didn't buy from her but only because the one I liked most would of possibly gone over height for showing. Really helpful when arranging to go view and sent me info about other possible ones afterwards but I'd already found one.
Would definitely go back if and when I'm looking for another.

a friend at my yard bought a connemara x tb from them last year - turned out to be exactly what They had adverised and was very well schooled etc. A real sweetheart. Only thing i can say is he was a bit on the lean side but didn't effect him at all and he didn't turn into a nut once fed up either

i dont know anyone who has bought from her but a friend of mine went for a trial to work there and only had positive things to say about the owner and the horses - think the only reason she didnt go for it was that it was several hours from home for her
