RTS Bentex Breeches from Germany

There was a post in NL re the RTS Bentex breeches and having issues to contact them.... I replied on that post, but then remembered reading on here that several of you guys buy the RTS Bentex breeches from Germany so this might be of interest to you too - although with the exchange rate as it is at the moment, the prices are probably not so attractive at the moment!
RTS Sportline has gone bankrupt.. the new company which has taken over making the Bentex breeches is Summary Equisports ..... sounds like there might be other companys starting to try to sell Breeches using the RTS name but these are not the same as the original ones - there was a warning about this on the letter from Summary Equisports.. so be careful if you see breeches advertised elsewhere.

Thank you very much! I had a pair take 6 months (!) to reach me this summer and have a lady with an ebay shop trying to source a pair the same in another colour for me though she warned me not to hold my breath (like I didn't already know

).

What a shame that their customer service has been so poor when their product is so good - mine are my favourite breeches ever. I hope that the new company can deliver a similar quality product much, much quicker. Maybe I'll get a competition coloured pair in time for BE 2010? They've been on order since October but luckily not paid for!

I have translated the site (my German is rather limited!) and it nearly makes sense. I am looking for the high-waisted breeches - are these the 'hochbund' ones?

I think I got an email from them but it was in German and I assumed that it was a 'Merry Xmas to our customers' type thing and didn't read it very carefully

i can read German if anyone still has any correspondence from them. they're great breeches, worth the hassle!

hochbund are high waisted.
I am presuming the long delays and crap customer service were due to the financial situation if they are now bankrupt

the link in my first post is the one you need to order them... they are the original ones.. made with the Bentex seat.... as mentioned, careful if you find any other breeches marketed with the RTS name... only the ones from the Company Summary Equisports are with the bentex seat material.

Oh no can't believe they have gone bankrupt - I always buy my breeches (brilliant) from them never had any problems with delivery and they even sent me an extra gift last time. Really struggling with the site as don't read german at all.
