So am in a dilema of which breeches to get for competition and have managed to wittle it down to these 2!

Would love people comments on them who have them...

I like the high waist of the Toggi's, but is this more for dressage? But I dont like the full seat too much as it is white on corn coloured breeches.

Love the look of the RTS and the sticky bum !!

But what do they look like at the front...cant get a pic of the front do they have a pocket? Also the sizings are majorly confusing me!!

Any advice on the above would be greatly appreciated!

I tried both when I was looking a few years back.
I went for the bentex - the Toggi looked rubbish on me - and this when i was a lot thinner.

Much prefer bentex but maybe you should try them on first??

i've got the bentex, and various pairs of cavallo and pikeur sticky-bum. really rate the bentex, the seat is definitely stickier.
there are good pics of the fronts of them (they do pleated and flat front, as well as high waist) at the rts-sportline site,

when you click on which style you want, you then have to click again on womens or mens at the bottom of the screen... it foxed me for a while!
i'm about to order a new pair for this season, and it's deffo going to be bentex.

I have a pair on the RTS high waisted that I got years ago at the Europeans in Punchestown and love them. The beige are a lovely colour (imo) for eventing. I personally don't like the white seat in the Toggi's (ruining a nice pair of breeches!). Just had a look at the links and the special offers on the RTS and am very tempted! The only issue is my bank account as I am off sailing in 3 weeks and rennovating my flat! eek.

i've got the athena in the winter white, and they look really nice on and i'm a 28/30 generally, they are quite high waisted - but i always get positive comments when i'm wearing them, they are strictly summer breeches though as quite thin (nude or v. pale knick knocks only). they are really quite slim fitting round the waist but the leg is not tight at all. they are generally about £99.99 in shops but you can get them on ebay from anything from 14.99 to 50.00.

I have a pair of Toggi's Athena's and probably won't buy a pair again, simply because seat doesn't wear well - does 'bobble' quickly - and not too cheap either which vexed me, however are very comfy, hold all in place and keep me glued in the saddle and I'm a sucker for the corn yellow colour too. Have a pair for everday and they are super comfortable.
The bentex ones look good, though ideally I would be looking for high waist, pleated front AND full seat....

H-J, just looked at a pair of pikeur breeches and the labels have the german sizing on them which might be helpful. My Pikeurs say GB26 and D40. If you require the longer ones you would need to order the size 80.

The RTS did used to come up a bit smaller so I went up a size, they have now changed the sizing of the full seat ones and the measurements are now in line with all the other well known brands so you may be OK with your normal size.

Still am slightly confused!!

It has 80/26L so would that be waht I would want?

And it has 40/something as well if im an 80 what would a 40 look like! Someone with a waist like my arm!

The 40's will be the same size around the waist but with shorter leg length. Took me a while to get my head around it, all these continental sizings are confusing. Suspect if you have a 34" leg then the 40's will be too short for you.
