So after a really cold snap when my horse was out with two rugs on (now only one thankfully) she now has some really pink raw sores on her withers
she has very high withers which probably doesn't help the situation. She is very twitchy when I touch it/ apply Sudocreme so it's obviously bothering her. Can anyone recommend me how to treat it? I would love to leave her unrugged but she's currently clipped& we are in chilly scotland!
So far Iv just been applying Sudocreme & tonight I taped some padding onto the inside of her rug....not ideal but just to ease her discomfort.
