I ride my horse in a straight bar rubber snaffle (the black ones) not happy mouth as he tends to eat them!
Can you get any other bits (except rubber pelham-already have that) in the black rubber? Like a french link snaffle etc

Ive never seen one and thought some1 might know!!

ooo, thanx guys! will extend my hunt. Its just he can get a bit strong and 'set' against the straight bar so I change to a myler/french link which he goes ok in but its the metal of the bit he doesnt like rather than the action so want to find him the same action but with a rubber mouth piece
Ive tried him in sweet iron bits as well and have tried warming the bit up for him before putting it on but he still doesnt accept it as well as the rubber one.
(I borrowed a friends french link happy mouth and he chewed a hole it in a 30min schooling session!!)

If it's the metal he dosen't like then buy a roll of Latex and wrap the bit, i've done this with all of my bits for my smaller pony as after spending hundreds of £'s trying to find a bit he was comfortable in, we finally realised that actually he didn't like the feeling of any kind of metal. Now everything is wrapped in Latex, he mouths and settles straightaway.
