Hi. I have 22mm EVA easimats for one stable, these cost me £260. Am saving up to put mats in my other stable, please advise me on which ones you think are best value for money. Are rubber mats or EVA better? Thank you.

hi
i found the recycled mats are fab work just aswell and are £12 for a 4ft x 3ft mat buy 10 get 2 free on ebay free delivery 2!!

About ten years ago I mentioned to a friend that I was going to order some Fieldgard mats and she instantly said don't bother as she knew of some for sale, unused and unloved. I paid £150 for about £600 worth!

Try an advert in your local rags asking if anyone has any for sale and you never know, you might be as lucky as I was.

By the way, mine are still like new, as are some plain rubber green ones from the first batch the UK got. They were the original display ones at either HotYS or Olympia, I forget which, and are still going strong after all these years of abuse. I even had them in use with zero bedding in a shelter used by four horses for three winters!

Oh sorry to hijack the thread but do they get slippery when wet? My shelter is in a part which gets very wet and ocassionally floods. I want mats down but have been wondering whether they would be a waste of money.
