Has anyone used these? I know they are for gateways etc, but im thinking of using them for my garden as its very wet and im sick of my dogs bringing half the mudd in the garden in every time they go out! my back door comes straight in to living room so keeping everything clean is a nightmare, have a small patio area, but im thinking of using he grass matts around it them fencing off a area for the dogs when its wet. Do you think it would work? dont really want gravel and cant aafford to concrete it all at the mo. Any suggestions welcome. thanks

I have been looking into this for our garden and had been wondering about grass reinforcement mesh off ebay as it seems less visually intrusive than the rubber stuff. Not been brave enough to take the plunge yet though

As above really, they are good as long as they are installed correctly & this requires dry ground. If you try doing it when the ground is soaking or muddy they will disappear under the mud & you'll have wasted your money.

Thanks, sounds like it might work thn. maybe a project for summer, too late for this winter but I will have to do something before next as im sick of mud!! Have had to cover carpet in old towels and sheets as its impossible to keep clean otherwise. Thinking of getting a dirt trapper mat as well
