We had Tylyne fit mats in our 2 stables at current yard. This was great - fab mats and sealed properly. They would then remove the mats and refit them at a new yard for £100 per stable, which included extra matting if needed.

Well I was looking for the company contact details this morning, as we are moving yards, and their website was not available. Companies house webcheck is closed on Sundays so can't check there, and just looked at another matting thread where someone else said they have also been unable to contact them.

I have a mobile number for them on a letter they sent to us when we had the matting. We have tried it and it still works but it looks like they are no longer trading.

Does anyone know of any other rubber matting companies who would JUST REMOVE AND REFIT our current mats? We don't want new mats but will need extra matting as new stables are bigger.

Can it? Ooooh! My husband is pretty nifty at DIY as he's a carpenter/joiner and can seemingly turn his hand to almost anything, so hmmm, worth thinking about.

Tylyne no longer even listed on companies house and all their numbers are off the hook/non-existant, so sadly looks like they're out of business, which is odd because, to me, they were some of the best around and when you went to shows it was always them you saw!

Have mentioned to my husband and he said that the new stables are much bigger than the old ones so probably not doable. Also, we have ones which are siliconed down as can't be doing with the old pulling up and cleaning routine - see no point!

I have phoned one company who say they won't, another company who are also folding (the stable mat) and another one who said that their mats would not be compatable with ours so they couldn't supply extra for the bigger stables.

So what do we do? We obviously have to go for new mats, which leaves us with tylyne matting that's less than 2 years old, enough for 2 stables, which we cannot use because it's too small and no one will fit it!

Quattro are too far away and I don't like equimat as you don't glue them down.

If new stables are bigger why not fit one stable with existing mats - you could silicone them then get new mats for other stable.
My mats are not from same manufacturer but I fitted them originally and I've since moved them - hard work but worth the effort

I'd fit out one stable with the existing mats then buy Equimats for the 2nd stable! I've moved mine 3 times -easy peasy and even a weakling like me can carry them as they come in manageable slabs that join together like a jigsaw.
