Hey can i have some advice please.

I am looking for a rubber matting for options and have gotten very confused!

I think the best one i have found is "easi mat" does anyone have any experiance of this? or a different make they would recommend?
Stable is 12 by 12.
I intend to use it with either easi-bed, or eco comfy bed? also any advice on bedding appreciated!
Thanks

I got some about 4yrs ago this april. It was a local company called woody pets or something and they delivered and fitted a 12x12 for £250.
Its great matting but heavy, I have cut them into halves, not brilliantly but...had to really as I have had to shift them on my own so often and they are fairly heavy.
I think whatever mat you go for, plenty of good ones out there, lightweight ones are no doubt easier to manage.

I saw Easimats on Ebay, in theory they're a great idea.
I too would be interested to know if anyone has any experience as to whether they stay locked together and flat.
For those that don't know - they have an interlocking join down the middle so effectively come in two halves (3x4) to make 6x4 when locked together.

Don't want to hijack, but am also researching rubber mats and wondered if anyone has used poured rubber instead of mats?

I've just put down Easimats in my field shelter - not the locking kind - and they look great: they're very thick but easy enough for one person to handle. Too early to say how well they will wear, but so far I'm impressed. They were also very good value - free delivery and no VAT.

I have easimats that I bought from ebay, very light weight and easy to cut to size (not the interlocking ones). The floor they are on is slighty uneven and where my fat cob has stood on them they have stretched/moved and sometimes bulge up, but this is easily fixed just by cutting them with stanley knife. Have saved me a fortune in bedding and worry that horse is lying on concrete floor!

I have equimats in all of my stables - and would highly recommend them. The mats lock together, and so won't move in the stable, but if you want to lift them they break down into really manageable sizes.

TBH the only other mats I personally would consider having in my stables would be the Kraiburg mats.
