Hi all,

Looking to rubber mat about 8 stables, Any ideas on which make is the best? Bubble top or Ribbed? Whats more comfy for the horses? And ideally ones that are not going to leak to bad! And maybe not break the bank to much :)

Thank you! X

Over the years, I have tried "all of the colours and all of the sizes" it seems. "Doing" for my daughters now and helping friends. The bobbly ones are more grippy but a pain in the butt to keep clean, especially if you've got 8 stables "to do" :( Normally the ridges go on the bottom, I thought although I maybe wrong. They've been on the bottom when I have seen them pulled out in yards? We went for one called croc-top because they have little feet on the bottom and don't have to be pulled out but can be folded back to clean - which we do once a year  All rubber mats are bloomin' heavy but you don't need to move them loads if you get them put in properly.

I know people like EVA, but I thought it was rubbish in my friends stable, she was forever cleaning them because they moved about, and her stable stank, stank, stank :eek::eek: But he was a clydesdale cross?
