Rubber Matting

Sorry may have been done recently but can't find the post. Can anyone please recommend good rubber mats for stable? There seems to be so many around, not sure what to go for? Thanks!

Equimats are seperate (at least mine are). 6 mats for a 12x12 stables. I like mine, but I find them really heavy to lift!

Ours are Tylene. They are excellent. They must have gone down at least 7 years ago and are still going strong.

I have my 17hh 680kg mare on Aquamats-smooth- and highly recommend them . They are approx £45 each-6 for a 12'x12' stable

do you use rubber mats instead of bedding, as i tend to put bedding on top is this wrong?

mine are from quattro, they are very heavy and cost £30 each
seem to be lasting well

I have thick bubble top mats from horsemat.co.uk and use bit of cardboard for him to wee on.L

I can second equimats- really like them. Mine are six jigsaw interlocking mats for a 12x12 stable. They aren't too heavy to pick up and from the money i have saved in bedding have paid for themselves. Also good for legs and my lad lies down a lot more.

I've got the Aquamats - bobbly, I only got them earlier in the year but they seem fine.

i use equimats and so far so good. can't speak highly enough of the company itself, really lovely people. Me and my friend were fitting them ourselves and he drew out a map for us and numbered each mat in order that they were in the car so we knew exactly what went where (and he didn't laugh at us when we asked!) We had no problem fitting them, they aren't heavy and are easy to move.

I have got Tylyne. Brilliant. I had them fitted 7 years ago. They still look like new .The rubber which sealed them together has gone in a couple of places but they don't move at all. They cost £410 to do my stable which is 13'6" x 15'6" but have been worth every penny. The men who fitted them were brilliant and took a real pride in getting the perfect fit. They are not designed to be moved at all.

Prior to having the mats I used to deep litter Aubiose puting down a bed of 20 bales and using approximately 1 per week. At the end of the winter it nearly killed me removing all of the bedding. Now I use approximately 1/2 bale per week and it takes no time at all. Bliss
