Rubber on an arena.

Sorry not the most interesting post! We have a 20 x 60 arena with pure sand and want to put rubber on the top as gets deep when its dry. Does anyone know roughly how much rubber one would need for this size arena in tonnes.

However might be worth considering something like CLOPF, as not convinced rubber will do much for deep sand.

It would depend on which rubber surface you actually want to use.

Last September we had rubber chips put down on top of existing silica sand, I shopped around for a good price and we paid somewhere around £2500 for 20 tons of it, school is lovely, we went to blockade services near Godstone in Surrey, they just delivered and a friend with a digger did the rest.

zoewoodhurst, that seems like a good price as best I have is £50 per tonne.

FYI -> £2,500 / 20t = £125 per ton

remember you'll need to add VAT and delivery in most cases!
