Just wondered what people that have sand/rubber schools have done to help cure it when it rides deep?
Does topping up with more rubber work?
Or is there another answer?
Any suggestions gratefully received :-)

Depends why it rides deep - it shouldn't really. Mine does when it gets really wet because I have wood (Cushionride) under it and that gets mushy, no matter how good the drainage is, it soaks up water like sawdust does. I just have to live with it until the wood has rotted away. Do you level it? I harrow and roll mine (little 4ft harrow and big water filled garden roller towed by my 4x4, and shovel the sides in wen the track gets too worn.

We have sand and rubber in our indoor school. If it isn't watered regularly it can start to ride deep. I also harrow it regularly.

Ours is rubber, sand & a bit of fibre. It used to ride too deep,so,on advice,we removed about a ton or two of rubber off it&stored the excess surface. That did the trick. It was about 4years ago and it's ready to have it put back on now.

Sounds like you have too much rubber actually, so adding more would be a disaster. But it could also be the undersurface; what is that like?
