Can anyone recommend a good (but cheap!) place to buy mats

Also how easily are they to fit by yourself?

A 12 x 12 stable including delivery appears to be around £200?

I am getting them not to reduce bedding, but because I usually put mine on earth based stables and I am paranoid that my box walker might damage himself on concrete (he doesn't like being in)

£200 sounds quite cheap to include delivery - I brought mine from the tack shop last year for £40 each and had to collect. They were the old dense rubber sort (17mm), really heavy, but don't move and are hard wearing (thank god as I don't think I colud lift them again!!!), but easy to cut/trim with a stanley knife (my stable is 4" short of 12"x12" or I wouldn't have needed to cut them at all). My friend has the newer, lighter, foamy type, but i don't think they will last as long, but you can lift them to clean underneath.

Don't think you will get them much cheaper than that, unless you try ebay. They are heavy to move by yourself, but ours have been down for 4 years and we've never moved them and they haven't worn at all, even with our big draught horse on them.
