Rubber stable mats

I'm looking at buying some mats second hand to fit out my stables - does anyone know roughly how much 6'x4' mats that are 1" thick - 25mm - weigh?? KGs please!!
I know they are pretty heavy - it's going to affect which mode of transport I use to collect them....

Trying to remember how much ours weigh... the heavy ones are the better ones as they don't move around so much

Have a look on Ebay, I'm sure the suppliers on there show weights

ETS: the are flipping heavy! Unless Superman, have two people to handle; when new, they are very slippery; best and easiest way to move them around is to roll them up, tie up with binder twine, and poke a good and strong pole through, then lift the pole!

Spot the person who has shifted mats more than once!!

The ones that I've been looking at are 45kg each!

They are VERY heavy!!

As MrsM said they are better as they dont move around so much

And i do that trick too!! We usually use a broom to carry them

Yup, 45kg is ringing a bell! Heavy!

I knew one guy that picked one up and carried it around like it was a feather

They are blooming heavy, just had mine out of the stable to do pre winter disinfect underneath. Rolled up with twine, but didnt think about a pole , brilliant idea. Trouble is you still need two people dont you and I nearly always have to do mine alone, OH cant stand smell of stables was nearly sick last time I asked him to do so quicker to do myself.

AM - get him a face mask and douse it in lavendar oil! lol

You need gloves that can grip the mats, other wise they just slip (especially when 'dirty').
