Ok first i find one horse has a bacterial infection and the vets suspect there may be something underlying, very worried about him but ok these things happen cross his name off entry form for show next weekend.

Today go to ride my one remaining glimmer of hope and he's lame!!

I had these two horses with the intention of having fun for a couple years and then either having a good enough job to buy a good horse or maybe give up show jumping

they're 14 and 16 so i figured i'd have a couple good years (16 yr old is pony so hopefully last a bit longer than a horse) but no they both go wrong within a few days of each other.

I was really looking forwards to the future with my two boys who've been going well recently on the brink of really well and i've recently left the job i hated so i was going to have a really good summer but someone doesn't want me to have any of it.

Well done if you've read all that self pitying nonsense just suddenly feeling very depressed and bleak

I know exactly how you feel my 5 year old, which i bought last year to bring on and get me back in to it after a break, has been kicked above the hock.

Scanned last week damage to tendon, no riding for 6 weeks then rescan. He was coming on so lovely, was hoping to do some WH with him before the end of the season.

I feel so disheartened (sp), i had so many plans for the summer, now nothing.

A big glass of wine cheers me for a little while!
