Rubbish rug!

Can you believe it!!!

I've spent ages training Luna to wear her new rug (cos she's just a baby) - and today I put it on for the 1st time in the field due to the intense rain we've been having in Cumbria. Luna was a little star but the rug is absolutely soaked right the way through. Totally rubbish! Typical!

It is a Kildare medium weight turnout rug - hope this warns others not buy one of these rugs!

Had to go and buy another one tonight! I have a feeling my rug collection is about to grow! Don't tell hubby!

Oh dear! not good!

One reason I tend to pay out a little more and get a well known brand - even for a baby - then at least if they grow out of it you should be able to re-sell and get a fairly good price for it second hand ;o)

What denier was it? 600 is not usually enough for torrential rain.

I have one of the kildare rugs and it is a fab rug, kept foal dry all last winter and is still fine to be used on this years foals if we get bad bad weather
