One of my TBs has got a rub from his rug and although I've changed rugs so it's not gettin any worse, I was wondering how long it takes for them to grow out/when his summer coat will start to grow?

Also, I'm waiting for the grass to start growing as well so I can stop lugging my own bodyweight in hay 2 miles every day - anybody else's started?!

I bought a bossy bib for my warmblood and they have cleared up in three weeks. Brilliant - think I am gonna get another one!!

As for the grass - ours has definately started to sprout

the soil temperature needs to be 6deg to grow.mine are out for a couple of hours a day and are getting something from it cos they are not hungry when they come in but its looks like there is none.
i am not bothered cos i always have too much in the summer anyway.
i think we are just at that stage when you think``will it come back this year``lol

My tb gets rubbed...not matter what rug...how I get it altered etc.
I use bossy bibs and also weatherbeeta bibs (they are like thin lycra)...either one really helps.
I used to rub in aloe vera as well which worked quite well until I found bossy bibs/lycra bib. Until you are using a bib or stopping using rugs the rub will stay.

The grass is coming thru in Surrey!!!!!
