I went to view a horse for full loan / loan wvtb a few weeks ago, everything went well at the viewing owner seemed really enthusiastic.
A couple of hours later i messaged her thanking her for letting me see horse etc. No reply.
So i messaged again a few days later .. again no reply. So i though ok last try and messaged her again asking if he was still available and if she could let me know so i can carry on looking if not ... still no reply from her.

Am i over reacting thinking this is just utterly rude?
If she doesn't want me to loan her horse then just tell me dont leave me hanging for over a week ... grrr.

If it were me i'd be replying within a matter of seconds hah

Its rude and weird.
It happened to me years ago. One day by accident I assume she finally answered the phone- Very obviously the same woman (even said yes that's me when I asked by her name) then told me she'd never owned a horse and I had dialled the wrong number!

I don't think I did anything wrong that I can think of. I was gutted at the time.
One thing that I did think though was id really want to get on with and think my horses owner was normal if I had a horse on loan so maybe its a good escape?
However something better came up and fingers crossed it will for you also.

I suppose so haha, maybe its a good omen then!
I just thought if somone had their horse up for sale they'd at least make the effort to message a potential new owner back - good or bad news!

Fingers crossed i have a potential horse lined up this weekend - second viewing :)

I think unless theres a genuine reason for not replying I.e broken phone the shes just down right rude! Good luck in your search :)

Why not just call? When I'm selling something I do not entertain replies to text messages at all, I work on the mindset that if someone wants something they will call me and have an actual conversation about it.

She'd asked me to 'text her later to let her know what i thought'
I do usually ring but since she'd specifically asked me to text her i did that .. :/
