Rug Cleaners/ Reproofers

My rugs went to a new cleaner/ reproofer last year and with this last bit of rain all 3 of them have now started leaking. In hindsight I remember them being dried - I assume in a tumble drier, and having looked at the labels of them all they all say do not tumble dry. Am I going to have to write these 3 off, or if I take them to the place I used to go to be cleaned and reproofed, would they be salvagable?

Take them back and complain! Then buy reroof spray, think I pay about £8 a can (tent spray) and when you have 24hrs of dry weather spray them and let them dry before trying them again? I repair and reproof all my own rugs, so much cheaper! X
