I sorted through all my rugs a few weeks ago (the ones that my ex didn't run off with!), and decided to send a load away for cleaning and repairs. Having never bothered before (normally buy new rugs, as when my lot are through ripping them, it works out cheaper!) I have no idea where to send them!

I have a complete mixture, from cotton day sheets that need cleaning, through to heaveweight turnouts that need cleaning, reproofing and repairing. I also have a wool rug that needs a clean and repair, but not sure how they are cleaned....

Anyway, I can't put anything in our washing machine at home, as my partner has just bought a new one, and would go mental if I covered it with horse hair and muck! I have about 30 rugs in total that need sorting out. Anyone got any suggestions of a good, reputable cleaner, that will do a decent discount for quantity??

Pop into Bury Feeds which is behind Tolgate Tryes near the Tolgate pub... They send rugs off for repair and cleaning. Dont think they're that expensive either.

Asked at Bury Feeds, and they hugely expensive compared to what I used to pay in Sussex. Also, they send them away to Newmarket, and if you contact the company direct, the price is cheaper still. Just wondered if there were any others about, as that is the only quote that I have.

I have used the pressure washer in the past, but wanted to get them done "properly" this year. I might sort out the slightly cleaner ones to tackle myself though.

Rede Rug Care are brilliant, do good discount, excellent repairs & are quick. Also pick up and drop off.
I will not use that company that Buryfeeds use (cant name on here).

Hi

Do you have a number for Rede rug care, please? I used them last year when they had just started up and they were excellent, but have lost the leaflet.

Can't find anything on google..
