Rug for a chunky monkey?

My new girl is very broad. I was told she took a 5'9" rug, and lengthways she isn't far off that. My existing rugs are 5'9" but won't do up round her chest. I will go up to a 6ft as I'd rather it was slightly too big; however I want one with plenty of room for a big chest!

Any suggestions for a generously cut turnout? I know Rambo have a reputation for being slim fit, should we say... Just not sure re wider styles!

Masta fit my chunky girl the best, they were recommended by a mate who had some huge necked stallions lol

I have a Shires Typhoon and s Shires Stormbreaker that are quite generous around the neck. They're nice rugs too, very waterproof and tough.

my mare has a big chest and is quite a small horse everywhere else! she fits really well into Mark Todd and JHL rugs! but amigos are a nice fit too!

Masta is best for mine, she's 6'3 but I went up to a 6'9 in amigo and it still wouldn't do up round her chest, half way up her neck but dangling off her bum

actually amigo do an xl range too! I accidently bought one in the sale and even on my mare it was stupidly big! so that might be something to consider!

Being as she is a mare, should I cut the label out before I put it on if I go with the xl amigo? I don't want her to get a complex.

haha yes I think so, otherwise she might have words with you when she finds out, or when the others start laughing at her! she will then demand a monthly pass for weight watchers
