Rug help please

I've always used Rambo rugs, up until a couple of years ago when my rugs needed replacing ( they were over 10 years old)
I replaced them with premier equine rugs, which I like, however.... They have rubbed their manes terribly, now it could just be that they were in rugs longer but Ive never had that problem before and I do think the PE rugs are very heavy compared to other rugs. Now my dilemma is keep or replace and replace with what? Do I go back to full neck Rambos or I'm also looking at the wugs for turnout do any of you have experience of these? I know they are great rugs but mainly from a mane rubbing out point of view? Thanks in advance x

The Premier Equine rugs are heavy as you say, especially when wet. I would personally go back to your Rambos, Amigos or the Wugs. You could get the half necks if your worried about mane rubbing. Maybe get a rug with a detachable neck so you have a choice about whether its on or off, eg the Rambo Duo.
