rug help!

Having exhausted myself browsing the internet for weeks I thought I'd ask here!

I need a rug for my youngster - she'll be 4 next month. She only really needs a 200g roundabouts as she's a big cobby type and hot-blooded! Her size does limit the make of rug somewhat as she's most definately not small in the chest department!

My problem? She's a rug wrecker so I need a tough rug HOWEVER, this does mean that I'm not willing to spend an awful lot of money on a rug for her as I know it will get wrecked no matter how tough!

Would also prefer a half neck but standard neck is also okay.

Any recommendations??!

Shires Typhoon. If you're lucky there might be one on ebay in the right size.

I would be asking myself if she truly NEEDED a rug...

eta - However if you like the Shires rugs the Mark Todd ones are similar in fit. Saxon do cheap rugs too.

I'd buy second hand for a rug trasher! I tend to find Masta ones are pretty roomy round the shoulders and you'll be able to pick one of those up pretty cheap on fleabay. Mark Todd and the Horseware rugs are all roomy too It's less soul destroying if they wreck something that wasn't all shiny and new!
