Rug Re-proofing

Hi
I have a lightweight turnout rug which requires re-proofing I was just wondering if anyone has used any re-proofing products, if so which ones were they and do they really work?

Someone on here mentioned a while ago that reproofers for tents were very good & cheaper that equine equivalents. Get it from an 'Outdoors/camping' shop I suppose. I am thinking of giving it a try.

I've heard that aswell - def going to be trying it this year, cant afford to keep getting my rugs cleaned & reproofed professionally - so expensive
