Recently my horse has been ripping his rugs, he’s ripped two in the past week. We thought it was just getting caught on the fencing but he came in from the field today with the front clasp on his rug missing and a huge tear in it. When the other horses where brought in, one had the missing front clasp of the rug stuck in his shoe. We were told to try turning out horse out without a rug to try and keep others from getting hurt but is it really our responsibility to do that? As the horses will play together regardless so is there really any point?
