Bit of an odd one! A couple of months ago I purchased a BackOnTrack rug for my horse (http://www.wholehorse.co.uk/acatalog/Back_on_Track_Horse_Rugs.html), to try and help with a few issues she has.
I ordered my normal size, but the shop I purchased from advised me to go up to the next size, which I duly did. When it arrived I put it on my horse, and it seemed to fit nicely. Came back to it a few days later, and it would appear that it is in fact too large for her, and had slipped back
not overly impressed, as now it was used I couldn't sent it back, but thought may as well get on with using it.
I've had to put a bib underneath it, as her shoulders were getting rubbed, but then in all fairness this can happen with any rug. Now the hair of bits of her bottom appears to be vanishing, and I can only assume that it's the rug doing it, as it's sitting to far back on her.
The idea with the BoT rug is that is sits next to the skin, and does it's magic. Putting other things betweeen rug and skin will reduce it's effectiveness. Just wondering if anyone might have any bright ideas for stopping the rug rubbing her bottom. I did think of seeing if I could sew something into the rug to stop it happening, but wondering what sort of stuff would be best?
