Rug rubs mane away...Anyone tried this??

Why dont you just sew some satin material into your horses rug? You can even attach it with press studs so you can take it out and wash it on a regular basis. Its very simple to do and cheap if you cant afford to buy a rug with a silky mane lining made into it.

She has all types of rugs, Taka's, Premier equine, Masta's etc im a rugaholic! But all her full neck rugs rub it away no matter what lining they have, argh its so frustrating!

But I feel your pain, every year my girl rubs the bottom half of her mane away, and then it grows really nice in summer, to be rubbed away again :mad:

Think I may try the silk sewn in approach
