rug been on neddie for a day, and he has two nice bald patches near his chest.

He is turned out 24/7 atm, and probably will be all winter.

i have seen you can get those vest thingys? Do they work? Which are the best one to get?

the rug cannot fit correctly, unless hossie has very fine hair. does the rug have shoulder gussets? what make is the rug?
Bossys bibs are very good if needed.

Not neccesarily (sp) true. Amy's rugs have always fitted correctly, but I rarely got away with a little rub.

Like your horse, mine suffers to, not so much with shoulder rubs (although he gets these to) but he ends up with bald withers! He's a TB with v prominent withers! I bought 2 bibs from bossy's bibs and he wears one under stable rugs and 1 under turn out - brilliant things!

Neither does mine, looks like a jolly good fit to me but it certainly does rub her shoulders!

Perhaps its the material they've used or something?

Bossy Bibs!

I brought a bossy vest for my boy last year, his shoulders were very badly rubbed and the vest I had wasnt helping. Within a month of wearing the bossy bid his shoulders had competely clear up and you couldnt see the rubs had even existed!!!
