I have decided to buy S a new heavyweight rug, as he loves rolling and the bit where the neck attaches looks like it will give up the ghost on both his, so want a 3rd to have as spare whilst I do repairs.
I need a combo type with detachable neck, must be hard wearing/good quality due to the rolling a lot and other than that I'm open to suggestions. Not fussed about colour and I'm told Cuddly Ponies brand fit him well as he takes a 5ft 3, and is a slim type, so don't want anything too long. Oh and best price would be appreciated!

TIA

Derby House pony range are nice...weatherbeeta/cuddly ponies as you say. Even the saxon ones, though im not sure they do a detacthable. Masta are good and do separate hoods or weve a couple of the ponies in amigos with separate hoods.
Hope hes doing ok!

Thanks, I looked at Premier Equine as everyone's been raving but they start at 5ft6, am just googling the others...

B_B have posted a snow picture above...think they're doing fine, they both seem warm about the base of the ears in the morning, neither seem to have lost weight/be tucked up/grumpy and in fact this morning they both went and had a roll in it and played about together which looked fun, just such a shame for daughter as she's off school again and still can't ride!

They had some really good deals of Weatherbeeta Takas on equestrian clearance recently - my new contour arrived today and it cost £50.
I didn't get a neck but i can add one as it has the clips to attach if i want.

However just looking seems they only have 5'0 and 5 6 left on that deal but they have others.

derby house pony range or cuddly ponies, a long as he isnt a rug thug!
if its just rolling those two will stand up to that easily but probably not to a lot of playing/biting from other horses.

both of them are not too deep and would fit a finer type well.

also, derby house have got their rug pack (HW combo, LW and fleece) for just £50 at the mo!!!

Thanks, I am going to pop to Eileen Douglas tomorrow, and see what they have there, if not will order online , I think the Derby House looks good value thanks I'd not seen that one! But the problem will be the delivering if we get more snow on Sunday, hence going shopping!
Meanwhile I'll get the sewing machine and an old waterproof motorbike jacket from the loft to repair the holes, and hunt down some seam sealer I have somewhere....
