Rug size for 10.2hh shetland?

My mum has acquired a shetland and she has rainscald. Just wondering roughly what size rug she would need?

At a guess 4'3 or 4'6 depending on build & rug brand. Just measure it. But, its not advisable to rug over rain scald, the warmth & lack of air make it worse. It's better to bring in overnight/ during the day to dry off if its rainy, & treat it before rugging.

My 10hh finer build (not a shetland) is a 4ft 3" so at a guess as the poster above. Probably a 4ft 6".

My 42" shetlands are never smaller than 4ft9" with most being 5ft. I have found that Mark Todd rugs and Amigo rugs fit perfectly.

My 3yo is only 1/4 Shettie, he is quite fine, about 10.2hh and has a 4ft3 rug. His full sister is more of a chunk, she is about 11.1hh and has a 4ft9.

Get yourself a dressmakers tape and measure as we all seem to be giving varying sizes
