Why oh why is my horse an awkward shape? :o

He's a 6ft in Amigo and Weatherbeeta rugs; and they fit him nice! However, I splashed out on some other rugs at the weekend, seen as he only had two, and none of them fit!

I bought a shires chillcheeta 375grms combo, and it fits lovely, but is too short lengthways, same with a new rhino stable rug! So now, he has more rugs that don't fit him, than those which do.

He has:
2 fleeces (both a tiny bit too big - but hopefully he'll grow into them)
1 show rug (fits lovely, but cost a fortune so im trying to save it)
amigo cooler (lovely but impractal at the moment)
weatherbeeta stable (lovely, permently in use!)
shires chillcheeta (too small)
rhino stable rug (too small)
amigo lightweight turnout (fits lovely, but's too thin for this weather)

So, any ideas where I can get 6'3 rugs cheap(ish) ?

Horses eh? Who'd have em? :D

Could you return the recently bought rugs and exchange them for the next size? Equestrian Clearance.com are usually cheap for rugs and their online service is good.

He's a TB, but its just lengthways the rugs dont fit him, so Im hoping 6'3's will fit him :D

I can't return the rugs because I didnt try them on with a fleece underneath - stupid I know, but I didn't realise I had too; they're perfectly clean, etc, so Im hoping to pop them on ebay :)

Try the H&H swap shop, people may have 6ft 3 rugs and need 6ft rugs?
Is there anyone on your yard who has 6ft3 rugs that you could try before you buy? Also remember different rugs come up at different sizes, it is very much trial and error. That is why I stick with Weatherbeta and Mark Todd I know they fit my boy.
Hope you get sorted.:)

I have a Rhinegold Thor. Heavyweight (350gms) in a 6ft 3.
Brand new, never been out the bag.
£40 plus postage?
I would not be able to take it back though. Let me know if you are interested.
