Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a Mark Todd Coolex Turnout and wondered how the sizing compared. She is quite stocky and currently has a 6' Weatherbeeta, so need to know if she would be the same in Mark Todd.
Thanks in advance.

Personal experience is that MT rugs comes up smaller than others however, I've only got the fleece show rugs. I purchased in my boy's usual sizes however, they get a bit of a cold bum  (one does have an oversized bum through ).
I haven't got a NZ so not sure but to be on the safe size i would now (personally) get a size up

Not sure re sizing, but I have found the horses of mine that fit weatherbeta's don't fit Mark Todds and visa versa. Seem to be different shaped necks / fronts.

Thank you for your replies.
If I get one, then maybe I should go for the next size up. (I have 5 others in 6'3", so if it doesn't fit then hopefully it will be ok for one of the others).
sare_bear, that was one of my concerns. All mine are wearing Weatherbeeta or Fal which seem to be the best fit for them, but this particular horse is not quite so big in the chest/shoulders as most of the others so fingers crossed!

Only use Weatherbeetas as they fit both my 6 foot size horses a treat. I have had the heavyweight Mark Todd stable rugs and they fit my horses like a very short toga and they are tight on the necks. However, I also have a Mark Todd heavyweight turnout with detacheable hood for one of my horses and it fits fine.

I think MT's come up big. I only have turnouts but my 6'6'' horse fits into a 6'3'' MT heavy weight where he needs a 6'9'' to fit properly in WB?

I say he's 6'6'' as that is what he measures up as with a tape but his rugs are various sizes!
