Ok my boy is usually a 6'3 in rugs i bought him a couple of rugs but they are too small, do sizes alter in different makes, fleeces esp.. i need to get one that will fit him lol

Different make rug vary in size massively!

Masta fit him well but Saxon (I think) was too small, have seen a wetherbeeta and a shires I like.. he's a tb not a chunky type though..

My TB (dark bay in my signature) fits Shires rugs (she has a Shires Stormbreaker). I have a Masta stable rug and I would say that the sizes are similar. Saxon are Weatherbeeta's budget range and they do come up small.
ETA. I did have a Weatherbeeta Taka but it was too big around the shoulders for both of the mares and you couldn't adjust the fit, so I sold it on. it was a shame as it was a lovely rug.

How dare you mention this topic! I was just having a grumble to myself the other day about it!
I bought my 16.1hh skinny Thoroughbred a 6'6" Mast Zing (pink/purple checked turnout sort of getup) last winter, December 2010 ish. Fits perfectly. Tried a couple of other brands for stable rugs and fleeces and only Amigo also seems to fit. So, since Masta clearly fit, I bought a stable rug in the same size cos i liked the pattern (cos obviously its the pattern that makes it fit ). And waddaya know, it hangs off his arse. I mean po-leeeaaase. HOW??!!! I'm sure the neck is wider and therefore it hangs back off him. Either way, i'm quite miffed about it so am going to have to buy 6'3"s now, just to be safe!!
Or maybe i'll just defect to a full wardrobe of Amigo/Horseware instead seeing as two out of two fit just the same in the same size

The joys of rug fitting.
I have a 6ft6 Amigo and it's definately smaller than my 6ft6 Rhino. So that means that i need 6ft Shires, 6ft6 amigo or 6ft3 rhino... for the same horse!
I also have a 5ft6 Rhino in navy/purple/green (was a combo but I cut the neck off it) and a 5ft6 Rhino Wug in brown check, which is definately bigger than the navy one!
