id like to know if anyone has used masta rugs if they are sized accurately, on the generous side or come up a bit small?
also weatherbeeta? (i found my landa turnout a bit on the short side but the stable rug was fine)

I used 6'9 Masta rugs on my old mare (16.2hh MW ID x TB) and they always fitted her really well. I think they are a generous fit though in general as have heard others comment on it. Weatherbeeta were the same - she had a 7ft cooler rug which fitted nicely.

What size/breed is your horse?

hes only 15.1 and a bit, hes welsh cob x thoroughbred, he's got a big chest and neck. ive generally bought 6'3 rugs but thought i should have got 6' 6 for the turnout when i tried it on him

Not sure about Masta, but weatherbeeta are pretty standard. I buy a bigger size to give more room at the front though.

QR - I borrowed a friends Masta the other day and it fitted beautifully. My horse is a little Irish TB and wears 6'3'' in most rugs. The rug I borrowed belongs to a clydesdale X who is 15.1hh and was a 6' so I'd say it came up as a generous fit. Weatherbeeta's I find are not quite so deep but it depends what sort of fit you want.

i tend to think they come up a bit small compared to some brands , eg weatherbeeta

i have 2 stable rugs & they are not really suited to broader horses in the shoulder/ neck area imo , althiugh the 1 turnout rug i have had was more generous but not a current range rug

thanks, i think i'll go for the 6'6
i thought his weatherbeeta full neck rug could have had a little more room in it also so hopefully the next size up will be better
