Please be aware that there have been several rug thefts from horses in fields around the Consett area (Durham and Tyne and Wear). Please mark your rugs with your post code to deter these thefts, as due to sub zero temperatures and 3' snow drifts unmarked rugs are looking mighty tempting to some people.
