Rug thefts

Apparently rugs are getting knicked off horses backs in rowlands gill and high spen.

Having seen the rips in my mares rug today, thieves would probably leave a donation lol.
Seriously, the best deterent I have seen is postcodes painted on rugs in large letters

This happened in and around Blackhall Mill last year, so I spray painted mine with post codes!

Yes I have been out painting on my rugs. It's the first time I heard of this going on round here.

I had some stolen at the start of the winter.

There were a few went in the area on the same night, different places.

I know of people that have had the rugs stolen off the horses backs, the rugs had the postcodes sprayed on and their house looks over the field!!!
