Very stupid question but do you think this rug is ok or too big? He 5 and will fill out more and still a bit bum high. Tried on 6ft 3 in shires and weatherbeeta and they fit great but got this gallop rug as was half the price. It’s a 6ft 3 on tightest on front straps or do you think best get 6ft

Too big, will drag back on the chest straps.

It does look a bit big to me but if you anticipate him filling out can you just keep it for later? I quite like Gallops, the 1200d ones are pretty good rugs and even the lower denier ones are useful in autumn and spring.

I was going to say it looks comfortable but I don't know much about rugs. If it's good quality and a good price and your horse is going to fill out, maybe it's good to keep for later.

Looks too big but do belly and neck straps up to check and take another pic if unsure showing head to tail. Will prob hang of his bum with tail flap starting too low if too big.
